Morris Surveying has been a family owned and operated Professional Surveying business for over 40 years.

 

William Kemp Morris Sr. opened his surveying business, Morris Surveying, in his Tampa garage in 1975 with the help of his loving wife Elaine and two brothers, Robert and Jeff Morris. After several years in his garage, he decided he really liked the growing Lutz community and felt that it would be the place he called home for his business. The company moved to Lutz in 1978 and helped through the years to lay the cornerstones for many of the prominent communities and subdivisions for the area. So began the journey to serve the Tampa Bay Community with superior land surveying services.

While growing his fledgling company, Kemp Sr. dedicated himself to educating and training young people in the profession of Land Surveying. It is his work and passion which makes him one of the elite surveyors today. His knowledge and experience made him one of the most sought after surveyors for the many answers to various professional questions. One of the many young people that Kemp Sr. helped to educate in the tradition of excellence in surveying was his own son, W. Kemp Morris Jr., who became a professional surveyor himself in 2004.

After 34 years of operating Morris Surveying, the business was handed down to W. Kemp Morris Jr. who now operates the business in Brooksville. Kemp Sr. is still very active in the company and community and will always be the cornerstone of Morris Surveying. When tired of retired life, Kemp Sr. will even join Kemp Jr. in the field on special occasions.

Today, Kemp Jr. carries on the tradition of excellence in surveying through his work in the Tampa Bay Area. Like his father before him, Kemp Jr. believes in hard work and dedication. Launching the company into the future, Kemp Jr. focuses on maintaining the traditional surveying knowledge blended with the future of surveying technology.
